Heather Nisbett-Loewenstein Artistic Director and Company Puppeteer
Our founder and the company's guiding force, Heather has performed, designed and/or directed over 80 different productions for StoneLion, as well as, working as a puppet builder and costume designer for professional theaters. She holds degrees in theater from Boise State University and the University of Dublin,Trinity College.
Jack Sharman Composer
Jack is a professional composer and musician working with StoneLion for over nine years. His credits include the soundtrack for our popular Stellaluna, The Emperor Penguin's New Clothes, Down the Drain and Backyard Buggin' productions. His scores have wowed audiences at our annual Mother's Day for Mother Earth pageants for eight years running.
Heather Nisbett-Loewenstein- Lead puppeteer
Eva is a stop motion animator with a Degree from the Kansas City Arts Institutive. She recently designed and painted our touring production of I'd Rather Be a Hummingbird. IN addition to building puppets with us she serves as a workshop teacher and performer in such productions as The Monkey's Dream.
Eva Hall Puppet & Set Construction
Taylor joined the company over ten years ago and has been seen in such shows as Stellaluna, Bubba and Trixie and Spelunk! She is also the organizing force of our office and assists in grant management. When you ring our phone she is who you talk to. Taylor has a degree in Theatre from the University of Northern Iowa and has also performed with such companies as The Dickens Carolers and Leawood Stage Company.

Laura joined StoneLion years ago and has performed in such pieces as Kachina Drums, Winter in the Wildwood and It's a Jungle Out There. She is also the author of StoneLion's acclaimed Gwendolyn's Dragon. She currently can be found at A to Z Theatrical and designing or painting for most of the professional theaters in Kansas City including Spinning Tree and The Unicorn Theater. She has at least two dozen designs for StoneLion productions including Backyard Buggin', Stellaluna and Excuse Me Are You a Dragon?
Laura Burkhart Scenic Designer and Puppet Builder
Glenn has been working with StoneLion for over 10 years now building sets and prop. He has spent time working with most of the theaters in town including The American Heartland Theatre, The Unicorn Theatre and The Kansas City Fringe Festival.
Geri joined StoneLion three years ago helping to create our giant puppets for Mother's Day for Mother Earth. Since then she has been found inside a 17' tall giraffe or stitching talking vegetables for Kaiser Permanente Educational Theatre. Oh things that we create... Prior to StoneLion She spent years as a display artist at Independence Center and her work can be found annually at The Vaille Mansion and Strawberry Hill. She is an avid outdoors person and can claim to have canoed the entire Missouri River and biked across America.

As an accomplished musician Ken can be seen in several bands including The Doo Dads, and his own trio playing weekly at The Green Lady Lounge. Ken scored “Excuse Me Are You a Dragon?” and the brand new “The Little Red Hen’s Garden”
